Patrick McLaughlin receives an honorable mention at GSRD poster competition

More than 100 students and faculty, gather for the GSRD annual event in order to showcase the extensive research that is being conducted by Wayne State's biomedical students. 

The GSRD event was gifted an endowed fund in memory of the late Dr. Lee, who was a part of the School of Medicine for 36 years. The endowment was distributed as awards and prizes to the admirable recipients. GSRD had an amazing amount of representation from students, faculty and judges and continues to improve each year. 

Awards were distributed to highly deserved students after presenting thier posters. Graduate student, Patrick McLaughlin, receives the Honorable Mention award for research in Dr. Penelope Higg's lab.
