Center Scholarships and Incentives


The following project based scholarships are available to Wayne State undergraduate and graduate students focusing in Peace and Conflict Studies:

  • Lillian Genser Internship in Peace Through the Arts and Humanities

  • Beverly and Robert Hacker Internship for Overcoming Disabilities

  • Bernard and Norma Goldman Undergraduate Scholarship in Conflict Resolution

  • Joella Gipson Scholarship in Social Justice

  • Eugene Perrin Scholarship for Science, Technology, & Peace

  • Conte Smith El Memorial Scholarship 

  • Victor Ross Scholarship for Students Studying Middle Eastern Peace Making

The Center welcomes donors and sponsors who would like establish or endow student support in a general or specialized field of Peace and Conflict Studies.

Students may apply to either the internship or scholarship programs by submitting a letter of interest to the director of the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies, together with a letter of reference, and current resume. Questions may be directed by e-mail to Dr. Pearson at ab3440@wayne.edu.
