On January 29, 2018 at the Oakland Schools Building in Waterford Township, former Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Mark Brewer and Republican political consultant Bob LaBrant, moderated by Brian Dickerson of the Detroit Free Press, discussed redistricting.

After the moderated dialogue between the speakers, attendees participated in moderated conversation in a coffeehouse-type atmosphere.
