The English Department's own Professor Simone Chess has been honored with one of this year's Champions of Diversity and Inclusion Awards. Her efforts towards establishing an environment of inclusivity at Wayne State have distinguished her as a "Champion of Queer Rights" in the latest Faculty Impact newsletter.
