AppointmentsAppointment times range from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, but specific hours vary week to week to accommodate students' varying schedules. To schedule an appointment with your assigned advisor, please go to advisingworks.wayne.edu.
Drop-In Advising HoursDrop-in advising hours are intended for brief questions and are limited to 10 minutes per student. We cannot accommodate financial aid appeals, probation/exclusion, or initial meetings (first contact with psychology advising) during drop-ins. We are not able to see drop-in students outside of these hours; please schedule an appointment if you are not able to attend the scheduled times. We cannot guarantee that you will be able to see a specific advisor during drop-in periods. Please call 313-577-2800 to confirm advisor availability. Tuesdays: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM (all students must be checked in by 11:45 AM)
Psychology Mass Advising Session & Information MeetingProspective and current WSU students who are considering majoring or minoring in psychology should attend to learn about the major and opportunities within the field. It is also helpful for individuals who are considering pursuing psychology as a second career and/or graduate studies. Meetings will cover psychology major requirements, information about graduate school, research experience, volunteer experience, the GRE, career resources, tips for success and much more. Attendance at one of the meetings is mandatory for all psychology majors. Students are encouraged to attend as soon as possible.
