Looking to gain some firsthand experience in a museum? Well, we could certainly use your talents as a museum volunteer.

As a voluteer you can work as a monitor in our museum gallery, work in the archaeology lab, and assist with collections. For most volunteers, time will be divided between monitoring the museum and working in the lab. Our monitors answer guest questions and often times work on homework and reading while guests view the gallery. In the archeaology lab, volunteers assist staff with ongoing projects and collections.

As a museum volunteer, you have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the collections, learn about the exhibit, assist with projects, and gain firsthand experience in what goes on behind the scenes in museums.

If you're interested in volunteering please contact the museum email: GrosscupMuseum@wayne.edu
