2019 Chinese Zodiac Animal Art Contest

The 2019 Chinese Zodiac Art Contest was held on Tuesday, March 5, at  the Greek Lounge on the first floor of Manoogian Hall at Wayne State University. Projects were divided into 3D, Poster, and T-shirt categories and judged according to age groups (Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12). All projects commemorated the year of the Pig, using at least four Chinese characters.

2009-2017 Art Contest

The 2017 Chinese Zodiac Art Contest took place on Thursday, March 9th at Wayne State University. All projects commemorated the year of the Rooster, using at least four Chinese characters. The following categories and age divisions were judged:

Categories: Poster     T-Shirt     3D Projects

Age Divisions (based on grade): K-2     3-5     6-8     9-12

Awards: First, second, and third place trophies and certificates in each category and age division (Awards were presented to those who were present on March 9. All others may pick up awards on Saturday, March 18 at the Michigan China Quiz Bowl or the following week, M-F, between 9 AM and 5 PM at the Confucius Institute. No awards will be mailed).
