2019 Keynote Speaker: Dr. Kathryn Johnson

Dr. Kathryn Johnson is Professor of Special Education and Director of the Confucius Institute at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. A former special education teacher for St. Cloud Public School District, she has, for the past 20 years, been a passionate advocate for special education in both China and the U.S.

In her keynote presentation, Dr. Johnson will share the power of people-to-people exchange through stories of laughter, tears, hopes and dreams, reminding us all of the reason why we do what we do in our Chinese language programs.
