2019 University Chinese Speech Contest

The 2019 Midwest "Chinese Bridge" Speech Contest for College Students took place on April 27 at Loyola University in Chicago, IL. WSU Asian studies major, Benjamin Henderson represented the Confucius Institute at Wayne State University and won a bronze medal for his speech and poetry reading. Students interested in taking part in the 2020 competition next April should contact the WSU-CI for coaching and sponsorship.

The WSU Confucius Institute will sponsor and coach up to four students.
