The mission of the Fraser Center is to develop and disseminate knowledge of policies and practices promoting high-quality, high-standard workplaces through collaborative initiatives and effective labor institutions.  The Center focuses on three core industrials: the public sector, healthcare, and manufacturing.  It sponsors conferences and events, including the annual Labor Leaders and Labor Forum, which honors major labor leaders for their contributions to the American economy and working families.  The goals of the Fraser Center are to:

  • Promote research in the areas of labor-management relations and workplace initiatives as well as employee attitudes and employer practices;
  • Hold conferences and events to bring stakeholders (labor, management, neutrals, policymakers, and community leaders) together to learn from cutting edge research and current thinking on these topics; and
  • Seek funding through donors and grants to support relevant activities, including the establishment of a education-and-training outreach capabilities.
