Each Monday and Thursday from 12:30-1:30 faculty and students gather to drink tea and speak in Russian. Speakers of Russian of all levels are welcome! Russian Tea is held in Manoogian 443. Questions? Email Laura Kline at

  • Wednesday, February 8. 7:30 pm. Russian Heritage Night with the Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The Pistons will be playing the LA Lakers and Timofey Mozgov. Each member of our group will get a free Pistons item; you will also get to go on the Pistons court at end of game to shoot one free throw. Cost: $17 (upper level ends) or $35 (upper level center) - the group will decide which option it wants. To join our group, write Laura Kline by February 1.

Program (come to any part you like): 9:45 – 10:00: What to expect during an Orthodox service. 10:00-11:30: Orthodox church service. 11:30-11:45: Q & A after the service. 11:45-12:15: Tour of this historic church. 12:15-1:00: Coffee and refreshments. 1:00-3:00: Help serve lunch to the local community. 3:00-3:30: Clean up.
