As you may have heard, the STEM Commons is moving because the Science and Engineering Library is being renovated into an awesome new STEM Innovation Center. The STEM Innovation Center, opening in fall 2020, will include a new STEM Commons, STEM teaching labs, interactive teaching spaces, maker spaces, a lounge and more. The last day for the current STEM Commons space is December 14, 2018.

The STEM Commons move to the Purde/Kresge Library during renovation of the STEM Innovation Center. The STEM Commons will reopen in the front (west) part of the area that is now a quiet study area of Kresge Library on Monday, January 7. The Kresge Library (map) is across Gullen Mall from the north end of the Student Center. The tone of the first floor of the Kresge Library is expected to become louder group study when we come to the space. We are excited for the move. Please share the news and come see the new STEM Commons in January.

The STEM Commons enables students to have casual study sessions with friends and get help from trained peer mentors.

Fridays from 9 AM to 5 PM
