Mary Width, MS, RD is a lecturer in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics. She teaches Nutritional Assessment, Advanced Clinical Nutrition, Nutrition Management, and also coordinates all the supervised practice for the dietetic students (currently over 50 sites in the tri-county area are used for dietetics field experiences). Mary currently serves as the website manager for the Southeastern Michigan Dietetic Association (SEMDA). Past work experiences include clinical nutrition, clinical management, food service management, long-term care consulting, and private counseling in the areas of childhood obesity disorders.
