experimental condensed matter physics: spin transport and spin polarization measurements in metals and semiconductors, Andreev reflection and tunneling studies (experiment and theory), characterization of novel half-metallic and composite ferromagentic/ferroelectric materials, studies of spin coherence in semiconductors and quantum computing, development of hybrid ferromagentic/semiconductor devices
