Michael Goldfield teaches courses in labor, race, and American Politics. He is the author of The Color of Politics: Race and the Mainspring of American Politics and The Decline of Organized Labor in the U.S. as well as many articles on questions of labor and race. His forthcoming book Globalization, Labour and the State, co-edited with Debdas Banergee and published by Routledge, will be published in India, the U.S., and Canada.
