Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders

Message from the Chair

Greetings!  Thank you for "stopping by" our website.  I hope that you find this to be a helpful resource to learn about our faculty, master's and doctoral study, and our clinical resources.

If you are considering applying for graduate admission to our master's or doctoral programs, be sure to use the information available regarding admissions, financial aid, and the exciting research and clinical opportunities available.  Our programs are unique in that they are offered in conjunction with over 40 different clinical and research locations within the WSU community and greater Detroit.  Our graduate program has an "international flair" as we welcome students from Canada and several other countries.

Feel free to contact our admissions coordinators for Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology by phone or email if you have any questions about applications or admissions.

In addition to our research and teaching programs, the Department operates the WSU Speech and Language Center.  For questions regarding referrals, schedules, or special clinical offerings be sure to contact us by phone or email.

Again, I welcome you to our website.
