Mathematics

Bachelor's Degree Policies

Undergraduates will be accepted as mathematics majors only after an interview with an advisor in the Department of Mathematics. A grade of B or better in MAT 2250 (taken at WSU) is the required foundation for 5000 level courses. No 5000 level courses should be taken before meeting with the Mathematics Department Undergraduate Advisor.

After a student's acceptance as a major, a student should consult an advisor at least once a year to verify progress. Students may call (313) 577-2479 to schedule an appointment.
