Minor in Mathematics
The requirements for a Minor in Mathematics consist of MAT 2010, 2020, 2030, 2250, and either:
- three mathematics courses numbered above 5000, or
- MAT 2150 or 2350 or 2210 or 2860 or 5000 and two mathematics courses numbered above 5000.
If MAT 2210 is elected, MAT 5700 may not be used to meet the requirement. The courses MAT 5005, 5120, 5130, 5180, and 5190 do not satisfy mathematics minor requirements. A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher must be maintained in these courses. Transfer courses counted toward a minor must carry a grade of C or better.
