Typically, offers of admission to the program are made in mid-February and are accompanied by an invitation to an open-house in early March. Recipients have until April 15 to accept or reject our offers. Between April 15 and May 31 additional offers of financial aid and/or admission may be made. Persons selected as alternates will be notified of our final decision by May 31.

· The GRE general test is required for admission. Scores are valid for 5 years. We encourage applicants allow time for processing and mailing.
o Official scores MUST be submitted by the Educational Testing Service to institution code R1898 and Department code 2016.
· Personal Statement: A one- or two-page personal statement addressed to "Graduate Committee Chairperson," describing your areas of interest in psychology and your career plans.
o IMPORTANT: If you are unable to submit your personal statement online, then it should be sent directly to the Psychology Department.
· A writing sample is OPTIONAL for the Psychology Department. Writing samples may include one of the following: Master's Thesis, conference presentation, or publication. NO LONGER THAN 5 PAGES TOTAL

· Recommendation letters: THREE letters of recommendation completed by professors or other persons who know you and your academic work sufficiently well to judge your qualifications for graduate study.
o If you are unable to submit Letters of Recommendation online, then they should be sent directly to the Psychology Department. Please attach the Recommendation Cover Letter to the front, and send them in an envelope sealed and signed by the recommender.
