ADVANCED PLACEMENT
CURRICULUM ENRICHMENT DAY

April 27, 2010
10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon
Wayne State University

Each year, the Wayne State University Department of History offers local-area high school students
the opportunity to attend lectures by full-time historians at WSU on topics suggested by
experienced AP teachers.   This event is offered free of charge to AP teachers and their students.

Schools are responsible for buses and chaperones.

In 2010, the History Department  will be offering lectures in three areas:

AP United States History

AP European History - 206 State Hall

AP World History - 46 DeRoy Auditorium

Parking Instructions

Teachers should arrange for buses to drop students off in front of State Hall (just north of Warren on Cass Avenue)
beginning at 9:30 a.m., and to pick students up beginning at 12:15 p.m.
unless you plan to keep your class on campus for lunch.

Bus drivers should be instructed to park on the service drive to the Lodge, around the edge of Adams Field.
That means southbound Cass to west Warren, Warren over the Lodge to an immediate right
onto the service drive, and then park.
Campus police will be saving places for bus parking and will not ticket on the 27th for street parking.
