Cyrillic for Your Computer
You can easily get Russian fonts for your word-processing program and for use in e-mails and the internet.
To get the Russian font for Windows, go to: Start/Control Panel/Date, Time, Language and Regional Options/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Details/Add/Then choose Russian.
To get a transliterated keyboard for Windows, go to: zsigri.tripod.com/fontboard/cyrinst.html, click on your version of windows, and download the appropriate fbruss.zip file. Make sure you have deleted the Windows Russian font first! Once you have installed the file, go to Start/Control Panel/Date, Time, Language and Regional Options/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Details/Add. Select “Keyboard Layout/IME” and select the Russian ASDF font from there.
